This flag fundraiser has been in place since 2012, and thanks to the community’s support, it continues to grow each year.  The proceeds from this community service fundraiser help support our band program.

When you purchase a flag subscription, ORHS Band students and parents will place an American flag(s) at your home or business in the Oak Ridge High School attendance zone for 6 patriotic holidays a year.

Thanks to you, the Oak Ridge H. S. Band Boosters Association is able to support and provide an amazing music education experience for our Band and Color Guard Students that they wouldn’t otherwise be afforded.

Flags will fly on the following holidays:

LABOR DAY  – September 2, 2024 (deadline 5:00pm August 16, 2024)
PATRIOT DAY  – September 11, 2024 (deadline 5:00pm August 16, 2024)
VETERAN’S DAY  – November 11, 2024
PRESIDENTS’ DAY  – February 17, 2025
MEMORIAL DAY  – May 26, 2025
INDEPENDENCE DAY  – July 4, 2025

One flag subscription includes a flag placed at your residence/business on the holidays listed above*. The cost for each flag subscription (1 flag) is $50.00.  A $1.00 processing fee will be added to the order to help cover our credit card fees. You can order multiple flags for your location at a cost of $50 per flag.

Each subscription year begins with the Labor Day holiday and runs through the July 4thholiday. If we receive your order after August 19th, we cannot guarantee a flag for Labor/Patriot Day.  Late orders cannot be pro-rated.

FAQ

Our subscription cycle begins with the Labor Day holiday and runs through the July 4th holiday. If you’re a new subscriber, you will receive your first flag for Labor Day.
If you have NOT received a flag by 5pm on Saturday (or the day before the holiday) please report the issue at the bottom of this page.

Safety is our first concern. If inclement weather is forecasted, the flags will not be placed. We will work to come up with a make-up date if possible. This has happened only a couple of times due to hurricanes. We do everything we can so that we don’t have to skip any holidays.
Once your subscription order is received and processed, the Flags with Pride team will place a small white tag on your curb and an approximately 12 inch piece of PVC in your yard near the curb. Beginning Labor Day of your subscription year, ORHS Band students and parents will place a 10 foot flag pole in your yard using the PVC previously placed by the FWP team. Flags typically are placed the Saturday BEFORE each holiday and will be collected the Saturday AFTER each holiday. IF YOU HAVE NOT RECIEVED YOUR FLAG by 5pm Saturday before the holiday, please report the issue below.
The cost for 1 flag placed at your house/business for all 6 holidays is $50.00 per year. You can order multiple flags at a cost of $50 per flag. A $1.00 processing fee will be added to the order to help cover our credit card fees.
You will receive a renewal email during the month of May. If you wish to continue your flag subscription for the new year, you will just need to click on the link within the email and it will take you to an order screen. You will then be able to review your address and personal information. You will be asked to enter your credit card information each year for payment. For your protection, we do not store your credit card information.
If you are moving within our flag boundaries, please fill out the form below and we will transfer your service. If you are moving outside of our distribution area, fill out the form below and we will see if another organization services your new address.
No, but you are more than welcome to place a light so that it shines on the flag. Solar lights work well for this. You may also take the flag inside at night if you wish, but please make sure it is back in the sleeve the next morning before the flags are retrieved. Thank you for your support!
