The Willis High School Band is selling subscriptions for US flags for
2022. For $50, Band members will place a US flag in front of your yard on
six selected National Holidays*. This is a service that shows our patriotism and
support for the Willis High School Band. Money earned will help support the
Willis High School Band for many of their endeavors this year. We
appreciate your consideration.

***DEADLINE FOR EACH HOLIDAY IS 2 WEEKS PRIOR TO THAT HOLIDAY***

Flags will fly on the following holidays:

PRESIDENT’S DAY February 19, 2024
MEMORIAL DAY May 27, 2024
INDEPENDENCE DAY July 4, 2024
LABOR DAY September 2, 2024
PATRIOT DAY September 11, 2024
VETERANS DAY November 11, 2024

FAQ

We will place a small sleeve in your yard, close to the curb. It will be installed below the grass line so it won’t interfere with lawn maintenance. We will glue a small curb marker on the curb denoting the sleeve location.
The cost for 1 flag placed at your house on all 6 holidays is $50.00. You can order multiple flags if you wish.
No, but you are more than welcome to place a light on the flag. Solar lights work well for this. You may also take the flag inside at night if you wish, but please make sure it is back in the sleeve the next morning before the flags are retrieved.
If you are moving within our flag boundaries, please fill out the form below and we will transfer your service. If you are moving outside of our distribution area, fill out the form below and we will see if another organization services your new address.

Safety is our first concern. If inclement weather is forecasted, the flags will not be placed. We will try to come up with a make-up date if possible. This has only occurred a couple of times due to hurricanes. We hope we never have to skip any holidays!
The Willis HS Band started this patriotic fundraiser in January of 2019! We are very proud of this and we look forward to many years of this patriotic service.
